Offered in a variety of sizes in an ovalized shape with a live edge, Black Walnut is a heavy hard wood with resonant purple and brown tones and occasional lighter accents.

Prices range from $50 to $100 depending on the size (see our other pages to purchase small and large.). Larger sizes are less common in our area. Call and ask if you are interested! Large sizes will be $100 and above because of the availability of wood. Based on our supply, we will quote you a size and a price.

These are all made from one single piece of wood.

Small sizes are up to 9 inches by 12 inches at the longest point in length and width.

The medium sizes start at 9 inches by 11 inches; variations are 13.5 inches by 7.75 inches on crosscut with tree rings. The large sizes are 10+ by 16+ inches.

Most all have a live edge. Some will have a cross-cut with tree rings visible cut across or on the bias; Somewill be rectangular or square using a side cut along the grain. If you have a preference, please let us know; we’ll indicate availability.

Durable and strong, they are real cutting boards, a beautiful cheeseboard, or a trivet (although we don’t recommend super high heat).
